Our client is a specialist financial services consultancy

Reporting to the Head of Prudential Practice, you will undertake a varied and rewarding role becoming central to the regulatory reporting and prudential advisory team and participating in the delivery of high-quality projects  You will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified and ideally have experience in prudential and Annex IV reporting and management gained in a client-facing and highly client-focused role.

 

Summary of Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage a portfolio of regulatory reporting and prudential advisory client relationships ensuring the highest standards of client service
  • Mentor and supervise team members to deliver excellent client service
  • Participate in the delivery of quality and timely projects, including ICAAP; GABRIEL reporting, Annex IV reporting and financial forecasting
  • Oversee and ensure the quality and timeliness delivery of projects
  • Participate in the management of the economics of client relationships, including pricing and resource allocation
  • Participate in the management of the team
  • Work with the Head of the Prudential Practice and the Partners to identify and implement strategic growth opportunities.
  • Play a leading role to provide a seamless conduct and prudential compliance solution to clients
  • Manage internal relationships within the Prudential Practice,  and with external counterparties (auditors and advisors)

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

 

  • Minimum 3 years’ PQE (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Regulatory knowledge – Prudential rules; plus FCA GABRIEL and Annex IV reporting ideal
  • Governance – business planning; financial forecasting; risk management
  • Experience of prudential reporting and management, including ICAAP and financial projections, for (as applicable) Exempt CAD firms, BIPRU, IFPRU, and full scope AIFMs (including CPMIs), or a willingness to rapidly develop expertise in this area
  • Experience of Annex IV reporting requirements or a willingness to rapidly develop expertise in this area
  • MS Office – proficient, with superior level of functional knowledge and able to build robust schedules & models on Excel
  • Able to perform in an entrepreneurial environment, working in and playing a part in managing a team
  • Able to collaborate within Prudential Practice as well as with other colleagues, clients and service providers, prioritising and working to tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and constant desire to improve systems and processes in pursuit of operational best practice
  • Proactive communication with excellent verbal written and presentation skills
  • Bring positive energy to the work environment that motivates team mates and colleagues
