A fast growing challenger bank is looking for a HR Business Partner to join their Kent based team (near Gillingham) on a 12 month FTC. Paying up to £36K plus bonus and comprehensive benefits, the job holder has overall responsibility for delivering an efficient and professional HR service to managers and senior leaders across the business.

Responsibilities include:
- Proactively developing relationships with key internal stakeholders, coaching and providing advice to managers in all HR matters and handling employee relations in a prompt and professional manner
- Supporting HR leaders on HR matters relating to restructuring, acquisitions and TUPE
- Co-ordinating effective appraisal, probation and performance management processes
- Working alongside managers to effectively manage sickness absence, ensuring appropriate support is provided to employees where necessary
- Manage and deliver ad-hoc HR projects that arise

Requirements:
- Previous experience of establishing and maintaining strong business partner relationships with managers across business units
- Extensive experience of managing employee relations cases to completion (e.g. grievance, capability and disciplinary)
- Will have previously managed employee consultation and redundancy process
- Robust knowledge of employment law and it's application is essential
- CIPD qualification - working towards level 7 a minimum and previous experience working in financial services is highly desirable
