A fast-growing specialist insurer based in Surrey are looking to grow their head count and bring a Senior Internal Auditor into their team. Following a recent merger, this firm have a strong market share in a number of retail insurance markets.

You will support the Senior management team and be responsible for the delivery of the Internal Audit plan through end to end Risk based audit assignments across various areas of the business. The scope of work will include the review of the effectiveness of the control environment on operational activity and compliance with the laws and regulations. Reviews will encompass the scoping and planning phase through to the production of reports for senior management, providing an important contribution to management controls.

You will plan and deliver audits throughout the firm whilst maintaining and developing strong and lasting relationships with internal stakeholders; the successful candidate therefore will hold strong interpersonal skills. The candidate will come from a practice background and hold a relevant professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIA etc.). Internal Audit experience from any industry is desired. The role will pay between £60,000-65,000 depending on experience with an additional annual bonus and excellent benefits package.
