Austin Andrew is currently in partnership with a leading Fortune 500 manufacturing company who are seeking a Regional Internal Audit Manager to become part of their European Team based out of Bratislava, Slovakia.

Reporting into the Global Internal Audit Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the EMEA region.

Key responsibilities:

-Manage the EMEA annual regional audit plan; scheduling audit engagements, maintaining the audit schedule and staffing requirements;
-Plan, perform and execute an array of audits across various areas of the business
-Build and maintain relationships with Senior stakeholders across the region
-Complete adhoc projects requested by the Director of Audit.
-Training and developing team members through appraisals and workshops
-Act as Lead recruitment and resourcing contact for the EMEA Internal Audit Team

The ideal candidate will hold an accountancy qualification, (ACCA/IIA/CPA etc.) and have strong audit experience, ideally gained within a top tier practice or a large internal audit function. Previous line management experience is essential as is the understanding of GAAS, GAAP and IFRS. Fluency in English is required with any additional language seen as advantageous.

The role will involve up to 40% travel and is offered on a permanent basis and are looking pay €65,000 plus bonus and other benefits.
